Nvidia Shield review - IS Android Ready For A portable Game Console

Nvidia Shield has a face only a gamer could love. When closed, it's a bulbous black manta ray of a device with green lips and a shiny silver forehead. When opened, it's like an oversized Xbox 360 game controller mated with a giant Nintendo DS. The bezels on the screen are ridiculously huge compared to today's smartphones, and the device's profile can seem grotesque. There are ugly seams in the plastic shell, particularly around the triggers, two visible screws, and the port arrangement feels lopsided. At roughly 6 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and over 2 inches thick, it won’t remotely fit into a pocket. It’s practically the size of a DSLR camera body, not a tablet or game controller.

Adidas is wasting no time to compete with Nike’s FuelBand SE (that dropped just yesterday) and has announced that they’re also releasing their own smartwatch geared toward runners. Not only will it come with a GPS connection to track the runner’s activity, but it also features Bluetooth connectivity, a heart rate sensor to track performance and provide feedback, and heart rate training guidance via the watch’s screen and vibration via Bluetooth headphones.

New Ipads Releases set on October 22nd

iPads. iPads Everywhere.

The iPad is getting a refresh; Apple updates those yearly and there’s no reason to assume that they’ll be breaking that trend anytime soon. Likely we’ll see the debut of the A7X; Apple tends to keep its iPad line to the X processors and that means, among other things, 64-bit architecture on the iPad, but we probably won’t be seeing a quad-core or anything beyond that. Also expect better battery life, a sharper screen, and probably some more emphasis on gaming.

Scentee Tries An Old Idea In A New Way

Ever since the Industrial Revolution really got going, we’ve been trying to communicate with scent. And on the surface, it’s a seemingly clever idea. But it’s run into a few problems over the years. The latest trying to break through is Scentee. The Japanese Take A Shot
